Does SOS-Expat work with a slow or unstable internet connection?

SOS-Expat is a web application that requires an internet connection to work. The interface is designed to be lightweight and work on modest-quality connections. For the phone call itself, the platform uses Twilio, a robust IP telephony service.

• The interface (search, profiles, payment) works on a 3G or basic Wi-Fi connection
• The phone call itself goes through your phone or internet network — a stable connection improves audio quality
• If your connection is very poor, the provider can call you back on your local phone number

The app is accessible from any browser, with no installation or download required.
